Gudanbong in Danyang because the rock looks like a turtle on top of a majestic, steep cliff
To see the third view of the Eight Views of Danyang, I went up the waterway of Chungju Lake. The way from Janghoe-naru to Cheongpung-naru on a sightseeing boat. A huge rocky cliff filled the field of view, and soon it slowly passed by, emptying my bow.
It looks like a large turtle is climbing a cliff, and it is said that it got the name Gudam (Gudam) because it has a pattern of rocky turtles in the water. This small peak is greedy, and it has the most outstanding view of the Chungju Lake water sightseeing course because it has a close cross between Jebibong and Geumsu Mountain and a view of Wolak Mountain in the distance.
I don't think the impression of Toegye Lee Hwang, who praised the scenery of Gudambong, saying that China's Small Sang Eight Views couldn't be better than this, was not excessive. There is also a story that during the Joseon dynasty, Lee Ji-bun stayed here and carried kudzu vines to make Bihak (Bihak), and people saw this and called it Shin Seon. Everyone seems to be a legend in the mysterious scenery of Gudambong.
