Banggok Pottery Village is
A traditional pottery village that uses wood-fired kilns, and was a trading center for ceramics sold in public during the Joseon Dynasty. They have produced white and buncheong ceramics from around 17C. There are abundant deposits of kaolin, the ingredient for making ceramics, and white clay, the ingredient for glazes, and the quality of multo is among the best in the country. In particular, the ceramics center, which has workshops and educational facilities where you can see the ceramic production process at a glance, along with exhibitions and sales of ceramics produced here, is attracting attention as a tourist attraction for ceramic education along with the natural scenery surrounding Bangok-ri.
