Handemy is beautiful with various mountain peaks! The large and small mountain peaks at the foot of Sobaeksan Mountain that surround Handemy are really beautiful. The mountain peaks surround the five villages like a fence, and the layers that form as you go deeper into the village are also a spectacular view! You don't have to climb a high mountain to see them. Handemy is administratively located in Chungcheongbuk-do, but it is bordered by Gangwon-do, so when you listen to the stories of the local residents, you can hear an exquisite mix of Chungcheong-do and Gangwon-do dialects.
