Seonamgyegok Valley
It is located about 12 kilometers south of Danyang-eup.
It is said to be the place where the gods roam, so it was also named "Samseongugok" by the Danyang governor, Yi Hwang. Seonamgyegok Valley is a 10-kilometer-long pristine valley alongside Route 59, where you can enjoy a refreshing drive and admire the crystal-clear water and dazzlingly white, wide rocks.
You can visit Sangseonam Rock, Jungseonam Rock, and Haseonam Rock, three of the Eight Scenic Views of Danyang, which are particularly spectacular.
* Some sections are off-limits for safety reasons.
1.5 kilometers from Soseonam Auto-camping Site is the "Naengcheon (cold spring) water spring," known for its crystal-clear water that comes down from deep in the uninhabited mountains.
There are numerous rental cottages and B&Bs in the Seonam Valley, with the 'Soseonam Auto-camping Site' and 'Soseonam Recreational Forest' operated by the Danyang Tourism Corporation, as well as the 'Haseonam Caravan Camping Site' of the Korea National Park Service, constantly visited by individual and group tourists.
