Banggok Pottery Exhibition Center, Pottery with Stories of Our Lives

Banggok Pottery Village, which has been producing ceramics since the 17th century, is the epicenter of Korea's ceramic history. The Banggok Pottery Exhibition Center is a space that shows the true nature of ceramics that have been part of our living culture for many years. As you enter the exhibition center, you will find the history hall on the right and the recreation hall on the left. The history hall covers the history of ceramics from prehistoric earthenware to ceramics from the Three Kingdoms period, celadon from the Goryeo Dynasty, white porcelain and Buncheong from the Joseon Dynasty, and modern everyday ceramics. In the recreation hall, you can see the entire production process of pottery through miniatures, and the explanation of the background of how the pottery was named makes it even more interesting.
