Darian Local Tourist Site, a shelter in nature

If you drive 7.1 kilometers from downtown Danyang and pass Cheondongdonggul Cave, you will find Darian Local Tourist Site, which is a collection of huts, campsites, youth hostels, B&B- restaurants centered on a valley that flows down from Sobaeksan Mountain. The Darian Local Tourist Site, with its various facilities, is a great place for hiking, relaxing, and learning about nature for youth, and visitors are greeted with a lovely landscape that shows the effort that has been put into it from the entrance.
As you pass through the spacious parking lot and enter the park, you'll feel like you're in the garden of a royal palace, with large trees spreading their chests everywhere you look, and neatly arranged lawns that look like they've been tended to every day.
As you make your way up the path, breathing in the fresh air from the trees, you'll notice cozy huts scattered throughout the valley, at every scenic spot. When the summer vacation season arrives, the place becomes even more crowded with people looking for a break from the heat.
The taste of a cool watermelon cut open and eaten under the shade of a hut is enough to beat the heat of summer. Following the sound of the valley's clear waters, the path leads up to Darianpokpo Falls. Named Darian (Dari: Bridge; An: Inner) because it was once necessary to cross a bridge to reach the waterfall, the waterfall cascades a clear blue-green stream through the rocks. It sounds as cool as a musician sitting upright with his jade robe spread wide and singing out the verses.
Although it is only 4-5 meters high, the pristine scenery that fills the entire view is the most spectacular part of the Dariangyegok Valley.
Perhaps the biggest attraction of the Darian Local Tourist Site is the harmonious beauty of the natural surroundings, combined with the human touch. Thanks to this, people can spend more time with nature, relax, and gain energy.

Barefoot Walking Trail : Darian Local Tourist Area has a barefoot walking trail, so you can walk on the path lined with ochre balls to improve your health, and the far-infrared rays emitted from the ochre are said to help eliminate germs and improve blood circulation.
