There were 30 steps and a small bridge tied to a mulberry tree with vines of a wild chive, so it was said that people could barely cross and the village's large cows could not cross, so they had to die inside the bridge. Old people associated the inside and outside of the bridge with death, so they deliberately built a weak bridge and used it carefully. It is also said that the mountain was home to the "Bridge of Custom" and "Bridge of Promise" that many people passed through for a long time.

n particular, the Dariangyegok Valley is composed of Granite Gneiss (Paleoproterozoic era) and Jangsan quartzite(Paleo-Cambrian era), and the area where they meet forms a "ductile shear zone." The time interval between these formations is about 1.3 billion years, and it is a place where you can experience the long history of the earth that humans cannot easily realize. A geologist from overseas once visited the site and said, "I can't believe that I am seeing earth minerals with a 1.3 billion-year gap with my own eyes, I have no regrets now. “

Nowadays, the Darian Local Tourist Site is the main starting point for climbing Sobaeksan Mountain and offers campsites, dome houses, huts, a performance stage, a grassy plaza, and sports facilities. What's more, the valley that runs through the Darian Local Tourist Site has a reputation for being crystal clear and pristine, with no houses above it, and no public access.
